Fall Tablescaping- Part 2

Another simple yet festive tablescape for the blog party Susan hosts each Thursday at BetweenNapsOnThePorch. This table for two is comprised of patterned plates from Cracker Barrel, placemats from JCPenney, napkins from Kohls, birdies from Michaels, Oneida flatware in Frost, candleholder from Yankee Candle adorned with festive sprigs from Michaels, tealight candles from Illuminations, and white china and gold-rimmed goblets that were gifts.

Magical Movies: Fred Claus (2007)

Vince Vaughn is Fred Claus, disgruntled older brother of the better-known Santa Claus. A garrulous hustler running from the emotional fallout of the ultimate sibling rivalry, poor Fred keeps trying to find happiness through one failed scheme after another, pushing away the people who care about him most. When brother Santa puts the squeeze on him to help out in the toy factory atop the world, Fred turns the place into one big, raucous party. Unfortunately, he’s unaware that Santa and Mrs. Claus are under tight scrutiny from an oversight committee, and could be shut down.

Don't forget National Hunger & Homeless Awareness Week Nov. 15-21, and Family Bible Week Nov.22-29, as well as Veterans’ Day Nov. 11, and Thanksgiving Nov. 26. November's birthstone is topaz, and its flower is the chrysanthemum.

This fall tablescape is comprised of Mikasa leaf plates, Oneida flatware in Frost, Pier1 leaf bowls and round bowls, baubles from Michaels, tealights from Yankee Candle, napkin rings from Bed Bath & Beyond, and napkins, placemats, and goblets of unknown origin (all gifts).
